What does labour attendance software do on a construction site?
Labour attendance software lets supervisors mark hajiri (attendance) for workers and gangs on a phone at the site, even with no network. Each day records present, half day and overtime. Labour Codes: which registers you need in 2026
All four Labour Codes took effect on 21 November 2025, and the final Central Rules were notified in May 2026 (BDO summary). The central forms include an Attendance Register cum Muster Roll (Form IX) and a Register of Wages, Overtime, Advances, Fines and Deductions (Form IV).
Most construction sites follow state rules, which differ in forms and timelines, so check your state's notified rules.
